meet the photographer ...

Charlotte Letkemann is a retired teacher who began her professional photographic career in recent years. She works with natural light - photographing landscapes, fruit, flowers, skies, architecture ... whatever catches her eye.

She and her husband live in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. They have travelled to many sites in Canada, the U.S.A., Europe and Israel. Her photographs from these travels, as well as those of her hometown, have appeared in some exhibitions.

Charlotte continues to produce series of photographs of the Niagara Region where she has lived all her life. Many of these are used on photo-art cards under the name "OUR WONDROUS WORLD", which she produces with her daughter, Ingrid.

Her photographs of grapes, vineyards, orchards, the historic sites and natural wonders in this area are popular throughout her locality. She has also produced lines of cards of both Allegany and Letchworth State Parks in New York, as well as of the Baha’i World Centre in Haifa, Israel.
